Happy Birthday Kallie!

So, here is the whole birthday story! Because Andy's birthday this year was on Sunday, and Kallie's was on Tuesday (crazy piano and YM day), we did the bulk of our activities and partying on the Saturday before! The day began with breakfast for dad (see photo on his post), which was followed by morning sledding on tons of new snow - Dad's birthday activity! Here is the birthday girl sledding! (Birthday boy picture on his post...) Kallie loves to play in the snow!!!

After sledding we came home for lunch, then went swimming in the afternoon (Kallie's birthday activity)... of course we have no pictures of that because we were all in the water playing! Great fun! After swimming we sped home (quite literally) for dinner with Grandma Lund!

Side note... this year Kallie wanted a cowgirl/horse birthday party! Here is Kallie's birthday board, which she helped with! The horse drawings are by her!

So, back to the story... we warmed and ate a great dinner of pulled BBQ pork sandwiches, pasta salad, pistachio jell-o salad, chips, and soda pop! After dinner was the big cake and birthday song! (Dad voted to share Kallie's cake and not have his own...) Here is the cowgirl with her cake!
