A Trip to the Water Hole

So, we went swimming last night for our family date... (we have been trying to go one time a week, partly to play with the girls, partly to swim laps (I swam 150 meters last night, I was so proud of myself...). Here are before and after pictures of the girls! :) We snapped a little picture before we went out and got wet.... the girls were so excited to swim!

Emma's friend, Julia, was at the pool, which was so fun for her! They played great together! Kallie swam without floaties for a while and jumped off the diving board 4 times! She was so proud! Lia wanted her floaties off, too, because she thinks she is Ariel and can breathe underwater, but we reminded her for the umpteenth time that she is a human and can not breathe underwater, and made her keep her floaties on! :) Here is the afterward picture! The girls in jammies, hair towels (we call them), ready for the drive home that they perceive to be sooo long (10 minutes), a light snack of strawberry cream mini spooner cereal and milk, and then straight to bed! Aren't they cute?
