Arr!! Happy Halloween!

Last February Andy and I took Kallie and Emma to a high school performance of "Peter Pan." Kallie absolutely feel in love with the characters, especially Captain Hook! She was even brave enough to shake his hook after the show (the young man who played Captain Hook is actually a cousin). She talked about being Peter Pan for Halloween all year. About October 1st, she began to have other ideas. She saw a peacock costume at the store and decided she just had to be a peacock! Then she returned to her original idea of being Peter Pan and reminded me that we needed to get making her costume. Then she saw a pirate costume I had at home (bought on last year's after Halloween sale) and decided that is what she wanted to be so she could say, "Arr! trick-er-treat!" like a pirate. And that is what she stuck with ever after! We got some accessories like a hook, sword, eye mask, etc. to complete her costume. I took her to JCPenney and had her Halloween pictures taken! Oh, she had a blast! These are her two best pictures! Arr! Happy Halloween!
